Storm stood on the rooftops, her eyes milky as she conducted the storm that was about to rage overhead. Putting a hand up, lightning crackled around her fingertips, and a breeze appeared from no where. Rain began to fall, as it would have done an hour or two later.
As it fell, she made the winds raise higher, carrying her with them, so that people would not be hurt by the water droplets as they fell and she could experience the heart of the weather. The storm itself lasted only about half an hour, but she flew with it all the way, feeling everything there was to feel.
Landind gently on the roof again, she was completely dry. Sighing as blue skies began to peek through, she heard someone behind her.

Logan walked onto the rooftop. He had finally returned to the mansion. "Hey." He looked over the grounds. They where bigger than he could remember.

Turning, she looked at Logan for a moment, then smiled softly and moved to hug him.
"Logan." Ororo said simply, drawing her friend into a gentle embrace. "You have been missed my friend."

Jean, who was back from her shopping trip, found Ororo and Logan. "Hello." She said, "Am I intruding?"

Logan returned it. He then looked at her. "I guess." He looked out over the grounds. "This place shrink or something?" He asked. Then looked back. "Jean.."

Ororo pulled back from Logan with another bright smile.
"Of course not Jean, you never do."
She gestured for Jean to join them. Hearing how Logan addressed Jean, she changed the subject.
"The grounds almost look smaller after a storm Logan, you know that."

Jean joined the two. "Allways have allways will." She then faced Logan directly. "Is there...Is there something you wanted to tell me Logan?"

"Jean..." Ororo said with warning in her tone, her eyes flashing with the same gentle sisterly warning. "Now is not the time for any confessions, I fear. Not when he has just arrived home."
She looked over the grounds, and folded her arms around herself. "It's empty with only us here... I wish they were all back... All the team I mean, I miss the company sometimes."

"I miss them to." Jean said, thinking of her husband. "But there's nothing we can do about that now." She decided to try and lighten the mood. "I bought you something when I was out Ororo." Jean said telekineticly lifting a plant out of her bag. "I know you love plants Ororo, so I picked this up..." She handed her friend the plant.

"Jean!" Ororo exclaimed in delight. "You shouldn't have, but it's wonderful. Thank you so much!"
She took the plant and gently touched the leaves, seeing what it would need to be cared for correctly. Looking up she smiled slowly. "I so happen to have something for you Jean. News though, but I feel you will get the same amount of pleasure. There was a phonecall for the mansion earlier, Scott. He told me to find you and tell you he'll be back shortly, from visiting his grandparents."
(( OOC: Am adding that in to try to explain why he's not here [saw an application for Cyclops so it'll tie in, I'll PM him ))

"I couldn't have a better friend Ororo. Thank you so much." Jean laughed. Her eyes were starting to fill with tears.

Ororo laughed and hugged her back then smiled. "I know you missed him, and I informed him that if I kept it secret then I'd probably be mobbed once he had returned, as well as the fact you know when I am lying."

"Ororo, you know I don't read my friends minds." Jean smiled. "Now, did Scott tell you what time he'd be home?" She asked, "Because I'd like to look nicer for my husband's homecomming."

Pausing, Ororo tried to recall the conversation in it's entirety. Remembering, she nodded and lookd at Jean. "He did say this evening if possible, otherwise early tomorrow morning."

Jean nodded. "Right. Now there's the problem of what to wear." She looked towards her bags and telekineticly lifted many articals of clothing out of tham. "Care to help me Ororo?"
